Dr.R. Vivekanandhan
Dr. R. Vivekanandhan,Chairman of Sri Krishna Educational Trust, was born on 6 June 1969. With a strong vision to promote quality education, he established the Sri Krishna Educational Trust in 1998 and founded Sri Krishna Engineering College in 1999, becoming one of the youngest Chairman in the field of higher education at the age of 29.
He was born to Mr. G. Ramalingam, a retired teacher from the Gandhi Memorial Higher Secondary School, Thiruvennainallur, and Mrs. R. Rajeswari, a homemaker, who inspired his commitment to learning and service.
Dr. R. Vivekanandhan’s academic journey is exceptionally diverse and distinguished. He began with a B.Sc. in Physics from the University of Madras (1989), followed by a B.Ed. (1993) and M.Ed. (1999) from Annamalai University. Over the years, he pursued and completed multiple postgraduate degrees across various disciplines, including:

Driven by a passion for lifelong learning and academic excellence, Dr. R. Vivekanandhan continues to inspire students and educators through his commitment, leadership, and remarkable achievements.
India being the second largest nation in higher education system in the world has madetremendous progress on the economic front due to our present literacy. If India improves its skills in all areas, we can drive away ignorance, empower our youth and enlarge our vision to a much higher horizon. Our nation with its more than 5 00 000 engineers graduating every year can make wonders globally in all fronts provided these engineers are Industry ready.
It is not so heartwarming that the number of engineering graduates with required skills in terms of analytical , verbal and interpersonal required for industry is about 4% only. The remaining 96% are unemployable. Hence it is essential to impart the required skills in them make them fetch a lion's share of employment to our graduates, global leaders in IT and BPO outsourcing.
