Communication Skill & Training
As modern day engineers often need specific skills to express themselves, special care has been taken to impart these soft, interpersonal, analytical and comparative skills to make them confident and independent in their own right.Professional trainers are involved to assess and assist the students in these aspects from their first year itself. An exclusive laboratory is developed with modern softwares to enhance the listening, writing, narrating and comprehending methods.Tamil medium students are given special attention to improve their competency levels also.
Library
The library has large collection of text Books, Journals, Magazines, Besides Newspapers. No of volumes in all branches of engineering comes to 7500 in 1672 titles. No of Journals (National, Inter-National)and magazines are 32. Educational cassettes VCD and DVD-76. Large collection of E-Learning materials
Sports & Games
The college has variety of INDOOR and OUTDOOR games facilities. An volleyball court, Tennis court, Indoor ball badminton court along with Cricket and football grounds are available.Our students participated and won number of athletic events in inter zonal competitions including 10,000 m, 5000 m and marathon.
Canteen
Tasty, hygienic nutritious and delicious unlimited food for breakfast and lunch is provided at nominal cost. Tea, coffee, confectionaries and soft drinks are available all through the day for Students, Staff and Visitors.Menu for hostel students has been designed to include eggs, non veg (for non veg students), fresh fruits, milk and nutritious snacks apart from regular menu as desired by students
Hostel
- Separate hostels for boys and girls are available within the campus.

Transport
The College has 25 buses which are made available to the students, and faculty members for commuting from various points in the city and also from suburbs like Chengalpet, Avadi, Thiruvallur and Kancheepuram. This facility has made it possible to start classes on time thereby helping the academic process. All buses reach the campus before 8.05 am and leave the campus at 3.40 pm.For the benefit of those students who are attending special classes, using library etc., special buses are arranged everyday upto Tambaram which leave the campus at 5.00 pm.
