Eligibility Requirements
A pass in HSC or equivalent examination with mathematics, physics and chemistry as the main subjects of study.
The aggregate minimum marks in the above three subjects are: OC - 55%, BC - 50%, MBC - 45%, SC / ST - a mere passquota as per government of Tamilnadu norms.
A pass in the Diploma Examination in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.
Minimum marks in the diploma examination on pre-final and final semesters, for various communities as prescribed by the government of Tamilnadu.
As prescribed by the government of Tamilnadu.
The allotment of candidates against government quota is done for :
Ist year through Anna University single window counseling.
IInd year through Director of Technical Education single window system for diploma students. Separate notifications inviting application for counselling and admission against government quota are published in leading dailies in April / May every year.
